Is this IT assets only, or all fixed assets?
The register tracks individually tagged units - laptops, monitors, phones, printers, equipment - through their lifecycle. Depreciation and the fixed-asset ledger live in Apragya Finance; capitalisation hands units across so both stay in step without re-keying.
How are assets created?
Automatically from the goods receipt against a PO in Purchase & Payables - one record per serial - with accessories and consumables routed to inventory stock instead. You can also bulk-import an existing register.
How does the offboarding recovery work?
When HRMS records an exit, the Offboarding Recovery agent lists what's on the employee's name, drafts the recovery task for IT, messages the employee, and places a clearance hold until the items are returned.
Who approves an asset request?
The approver is resolved dynamically - the requester's reporting manager by default, with extra approvers by value or category - and approves with one tap on WhatsApp or in the app.
Does it track warranties and AMCs?
Yes - per unit and per vendor, with the Warranty & AMC Advisor flagging what expires in the next 90 days and which renewals are worth it based on repair history.
Is my asset data used to train AI models?
No. Vippy runs on Anthropic's Claude through Apragya's governed keys; your data is not used for training, and every AI call is metered against your AI Credits.
