Snap the receipt. Vippy files it, checks the policy and sniffs the fraud.
Receipts are read by Claude Vision, expenses categorised and tagged to trips and projects, policy checked by grade band, approved on WhatsApp and paid in a reimbursement run that posts to the ledger. Travel requests, corporate cards and agency invoices live in the same place.
Vippy files expenses while the trip is still on
Receipts photographed at the hotel are a reimbursement by Monday - policy-checked, tax-extracted, approved in chat.
- Reads receipts from photos, email and card feeds and builds the claim
- Checks every line against policy and per-diem rules and explains rejections
- Routes approvals to WhatsApp or Teams and chases the approver
- Spots duplicates and fraud patterns across claims
Five agents read every claim before your approvers do
The Receipt OCR Extractor reads the photo with Claude Vision. In real time the Expense Categoriser & Fraud Sniffer categorises lines and flags duplicates, out-of-policy items and suspicious patterns, the Travel Policy Checker applies your grade-band limits, the Trip Approval Summariser writes the one-liner for the manager, and the Agency Invoice Reconciler matches the travel agency's bill to the bookings.
Request, approve, book and settle - with the policy doing the arguing
Travel policies by grade band set the class, the hotel cap, the per diem and the advance. A request is checked against them before the manager sees it, approved with one tap, booked through your agency, and settled against actuals - with cancellation charges and refunds handled as their own rows.
- Travel requests with trip segments and bulk booking
- Policies by grade band: class, caps, per diem, advances
- Rates frozen at approval; exceptions with notes
- Approval inbox with deep links on WhatsApp
- Settlement against actuals and advances
- Cancel-with-charge and refund credit rows
Vippy works where your team already works

Connected to the tools your team already uses
Cards, agencies, chat and your ledger - connected through Apragya's governed connector library, with credentials scoped to your tenant and every call audited.
Every connector is governed: tenant-scoped credentials, an audit log on each call, and the Tenant Runner reaches on-prem systems with no inbound firewall rules. Need one that isn't here? The custom adapter wraps any REST API.
Employees ask Vippy from the taxi. Finance asks from the desk.
Submit a receipt, check a policy, chase a reimbursement, find the duplicates - on WhatsApp or in the app.

Honest answers to honest questions
How good is the receipt scanning?
Vippy reads the photo with Claude Vision - merchant, date, amount, GST and GSTIN - and files it as a categorised line on the right trip and project. Low-confidence fields are highlighted for the employee to confirm.
How do travel policies work?
Policies are set per grade band: class of travel, hotel caps by city tier, per diem, advance limits and approved agencies. Requests and claims are checked against them before the approver sees them; exceptions need a note.
What does the fraud sniffer look for?
Duplicate receipts across reports and employees, out-of-policy items, round-number patterns, weekend or out-of-trip dates, and card charges with no claim. Flags go to the approver with the evidence - nothing is rejected automatically.
Does it handle our travel agency's invoice?
Yes - the agency's monthly invoice is matched line by line to bookings, unmatched lines are queried, and the bill is split by cost centre and project with GST per line, then raised as one payable.
How do reimbursements get paid?
Approved reports go into a reimbursement run that produces the bank file and posts to the ledger by GL account, project and cost centre - with GST input credit and project budgets updated. Advances and cancellations settle against it.
Is my expense data used to train AI models?
No. Vippy runs on Anthropic's Claude through Apragya's governed keys; your data is not used for training, and every AI call is metered against your AI Credits.
